It also supports Razor Hypershift which lets you momentarily shift all maps on your Razer devices. I honestly can’t remember if it also includes momentary shifts, but I don’t think those maps force those bonds to be static across all profiles.Īs a long time Nostromo user I tend to keep my map rotation button on the little round thumb button but it can be programmed anywhere or not all (making profiles inaccessible.) You can bind keys for changing the map with cycle or direct map changes.
RAZER TARTARUS PROFILES SOFTWARE
Synapse 3 software does support multiple Tartarus key maps per game and has 3 LED lights for indicating the current map, allowing for 8(?) possible maps per game (each with a unique light combination) but I tend to use 4 or less. Now that that is out of the way (Thanks for your patience), Does the Tartarus allow switching between 2 different keymaps on a single button?

I just want to toggle between the red and blue profiles while only taking up a single key. Yes, I COULD use the Cycle command, but I don't want the unused Green Keymap to get cycled through at all. Why they did it this way, I have no clue. This means I cannot use a single button to toggle between 2 different keymaps. If I switch to the Blue Keymap and change it there, that change happens on the other 2 keymaps as well. So if I put "Toggle Blue Keymap" on Button 1 of the Red Keymap, it is automatically put on Button 1 of the Blue Keymap and Button 1 of the Green Keymap. The problem is that all of these functions SPAN all of the keymaps. Momentary COLOR Keymap - Switches to that keymap while you hold that key, and then goes back when you release. Toggle COLOR Keymap - Switches to that specific keymap Those functions consist of:Ĭycle Keymaps - Which does exactly what it says, every time you press it, it switches to the next keymap, repeating. There are a few functions that I can assign to keys to move between keymaps. On my Nostromo, each game gets its own "profile" and each profile can have up to 3 different keymaps that are indicated by a red, green or blue LED. Since I'm not sure of the terminology used within the Tartarus software, I'll try to give a little more detail. You can do so by simply clicking flair under your link!ĭoes the Tartarus software allow for setting a single key to toggle between 2 keymaps? I thought my Nostromo could do this, but it apparently can't.
